Improved network availability with the deployment of DDoS Defense

The company

EVEO is a technology company in the data center industry serving enterprises in several sectors with products for infrastructure as a service, cloud computing, and server management.

Background

The company had been experiencing some DDoS attack episodes that were affecting not only its infrastructure, but also impairing the distribution of services to customers.

Challenge

The main challenge was to rapidly deploy DDoS Defense to block the attacks that were in progress without affecting EVEO’s operation and clients.

Solution

With the fast service from UPX’s IT Engineering and Security department, DDoS attack mitigation was successfully completed and EVEO can now track their entire network traffic on a daily basis in an intuitive dashboard, as well as customize blocking settings and receive alerts when an attack is in progress.
